Recently, January 29-31, 2023, Nicole Bengochea and Kathryn Whitaker participated in the NSBA Advocacy Institute in Washington, D.C. Together, with other education leaders they discussed the latest developments in key education policy and legislation including championing the interests of public K-12 students, advocating for education priorities and federal policies, and networking with other colleagues from across the country.
