From historic exploration to hands-on cybersecurity training, our time in Virginia City was unforgettable!
On Friday, trustees explored Main Street, toured iconic landmarks like the Fourth Ward School and Ponderosa Mine, and enjoyed dinner at the legendary Piper’s Opera House after a lively cocktail hour at the Silver Queen Saloon.
On Saturday, we dove into Cybersecurity 101 with expert Tony Rucci and TriVigil’s Mark McGinnis—learning how to protect our schools and students in the digital age. Topics included AI-driven threats, vendor management, and even a live Dark Web demo.
